Pilot the design, start-up and monitoring of Cold Forming/Hot Forming application and equipment and processes to meet customer and MAGNA specifications
Support the launch of new products.
Support the design and definition of Cold Forming/Hot Forming tools
Support the design and definition of tooling for Sand Blasting and Foam application.
Lead identification and implementation of improvement ideas for the processes.
Collaborate with GO (Group Office) for the development of Tooling and Hot Forming activities.
Support operation activities in the plant to meet the OEE targets and other established KPIs.
Adherence and "5S" rules within the company
Participation in compulsory education by the company, if necessary, completion of the examination
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years or related work experience in Cold forming/Hot forming or similar technologies or tools are preferred
Technical higher education (master's degree with preferred focus on mechanical engineering or automation technology)
Fluent English both written and spoken, German is very appreciated.
User level computer skills (MS-Office).
Process and manufacturing knowledge covering cold forming, tools and quality preferred.
Knowledge of automotive body and chassis is preferred.
Expert knowledge within an assigned area of responsibility, specifically automotive surface cleaning, lubricants, and foams
Confident handling of tools like MS Project, FMEA, MS Office.
Basic knowledge of LEAN methods.
