Description of the job :
- As a part of the Digital Operational Technology (OT) department, your responsibilities will be to:
- Validate and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs compliance with Digital OT systems
- Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations, policies, and best practices
- Support handover & coordination with other Automation teams stakeholders : Maintenance, Process Innovation
- Help Digital team in building World class Verkor’s Digital Manufacturing Industry 5.0 journey
- Support process control architectures design, strategies and specifications that align with the business objectives and standards
- Implement and configure process control systems and software using various tools and technologies, such as PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, Edge platform, etc
- Test and validate the Automation/ PLC implementation and integration with OT systems like SCADA, Edge, BMS, MES or Cloud services
Responsibilities :
- Test and validate the functionality, performance and reliability of the process control systems and software for OT & Data driven projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in the process control systems and software
- Provide technical support and guidance to the operators, technicians, and engineers
- Document and maintain the process control systems and software, including the design, configuration, testing, and operation procedures
Requirements :
- A least 5+ years of experience
- Familiarity with communication protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Easily adapt to multi-cultural environment
- Versatile, problem-solving, can-do and go get attitude
- Position based in Dunkerque (GF site)
- 25% travels required to Asia/Europe and Grenoble
