About the role: 

As a Process Automation Engineer, you are responsible for creating innovative and user-friendly solutions using the Nintex Product Stack as well as other relevant low code or no code platforms. You will work collaboratively with the RAD team and the Nintex Line of Business to understand their requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions that follow best practices and guidelines. You will have strong skills in designing and developing complex systems with new features and functionalities. You will leverage your knowledge of low code or no code strategies to solve problems and provide effective solutions.  

Your contribution will be:  

Research, explore and identify Nintex business problems:  

• Establish strong relationships by forming close connections with business owners and stakeholders, facilitating regular meetings and discussions to understand their Nintex-related needs, gather insights, and align with their expectations.
• Efficiently gather clear and comprehensive requirements, acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, while employing effective techniques to ensure thorough and well-documented specifications.
• Collaboratively prioritize requirements by assessing their business impact and constraints and maintain continuous validation processes to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations and evolving business needs. 

 Provide Solutions based on Nintex Platform: 

• Customize solutions to align precisely with the specific goals and requirements of each project, leveraging the Nintex Platform and low code or no code technologies.
• Assess project needs and select the most suitable platform, whether it's the Nintex Platform or other low code or no code tools, to deliver efficient and effective solutions.
• Maximize resource efficiency by choosing purpose-fit platforms, ensuring that the technology used is the best match for the project's complexity and timeline, while minimizing development efforts. 

Evangelize Nintex Products: 

• Maintain active engagement by staying well-informed about product development updates, enhancements, and industry trends, and share your knowledge and enthusiasm as an evangelist within the community.
• Promote active community engagement by participating in product-related forums, discussions, events, and fostering connections with fellow users through insightful contributions and assistance.
• Contribute to product enhancement by providing constructive feedback derived from your experiences and community interactions, actively sharing valuable insights, user suggestions, and real-world usage scenarios. 

Integrate with overall Engineering best practices: 

• Build solutions by applying the required software development guidelines for the RAD team.
• Work on existing solutions to optimize the efficiency of its outcome
• Employ Test-Driven Development to continually improve the quality of RAD solutions
• Where applicable, work with IT Infrastructure team to improve security and efficiencies of RAD team solutions
• Utilize test cases to account for any scenario for all RAD solutions
• Where applicable, work with App Dev team to improve the efficiency or robustness of RAD team solutions.
• Where applicable, make use of ADO and Agile practices that related to solution development. 

General:

• While experiencing conflict in technical approaches and reviews, you critique technical approaches and coach others on improving their work.   
• You attend and contribute to team ceremonies and meetings (daily scrum meetings, planning meetings, demos, and development retrospective meetings.)
• You communicate progress to the team and delivery manager regularly and seek guidance when required.
• You regularly contribute new ideas and maintain focus on continual improvement.

To be successful, we think you need:  

• 1-2 years practical experience in workflow automation or document generation platforms is preferred. Knowledge of Nintex an advantage.
• Experience in working with APIs via third party applications (Postman, Nintex Workflow Cloud, Pipedream, Salesforce)
• Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and design of reports and dashboards  
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and database management
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Info Tech, or Business Systems is preferred. 
• Extraordinary presentation skills, with the ability to establish trust across a range of technical and non-technical audiences in English, plus other languages relevant within the region.    
• Must hold themselves accountable and take action.    
• Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, high energy environment.
