Private Bank Israel Onshore Business Development Head, VP, based in Tel Aviv
Primary Function
The Private Bank Business Development Head's role is to identify and develop new business for J.P. Morgan Private Bank offshore entities and lead new client acquisition in Israel through a broad knowledge of JPMorgan's robust platform. The Private Bank Business Development Head will develop strategies to attract new Israeli nexus clients.
A broad knowledge of JPMorgan's robust platform is required even though the Business Development Head will not provide advice about JPM services and capabilities. The Business Development Head will develop strategies to identify new Prospects and will coordinate with the relevant offshore advisor team the most efficient way to approach the prospect arranging the introductory meeting.
Responsibilities

  • Identify sources of new business, acquire Leads for the Private Bank businesses and assist the Front Office to bring on board new Clients / assets. The particular focus is on Israel domestic opportunities
  • Work closely with the different lines of business including J.P. Morgan Investment Bank
  • Prospect, profile, overcome objections, negotiate and close the sale using a team approach
  • Partner with the Israel offshore team and create referral strategies that will lead to new business growth
  • Act as the local representative of J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Israel

  • Showcase excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships
  • An extensive background of sales success, particularly managing sales success through others
  • Have a real passion and understanding of all parts to sales and commercial process
  • Be proactive and creative: use sound judgment and navigate ambiguity to get things done
  • Observe an absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters


Position Requirements

  • Based in Tel Aviv
  • Bilingual (English and Hebrew), additional languages are a plus
  • Strong local network in Tel Aviv in the tech and medical industries
  • 7+ years' experience in Private Banking working with UHNW families
  • Bachelor degree required; MBA, JD or CFA preferred
