Job Purpose:
The Privacy department is in charge of monitoring the adequacy and effectiveness of Ardian’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be working directly with the Data Protection Officer. They will assist the Privacy department with day-to-day privacy responsibilities and support the team in establishing new procedures and controls. The role will provide exposure to a wide range of operational functions and will vary depending on the capabilities of the intern and the needs of the team. The position is full-time and based in London.
Job Responsibilities:

Assist with the monitoring of data protection compliance

Assist with reviewing and updating privacy policies, procedures and notices

Assist with contract reviews

Conduct research on various data protection laws and their application in order to support the privacy department

Analyse and interpret regulatory developments
Specialised business and technical knowledge:
-
Intellectual rigour and discipline; ability to organise and perform work efficiently

High attention to detail

Knowledge of and high competency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
Education and Experience:

Law, Social Science or IT degree either completed or due to complete from a leading university or business school

Experience or knowledge of Private Equity is an advantage

Fluent in English
