This position pays between $51,700 – $99,000 based on experience
In accordance with the HIPAA Privacy Rule, Organizational Requirements [45 CFR § 164.504], the Supervisor- Privacy Compliance Operations assists the Chief Privacy Officer in the direction of all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures covering the privacy of, and access to, patient health information in compliance with federal and state laws and the healthcare organization’s information privacy practices. The Supervisor- Privacy Compliance Operations is responsible to assist the Director- Privacy Compliance with the investigation and completion of all privacy-related complaints, inquiries and investigations and to develop and provide training and re-education on all HIPAA Privacy-related matters as requested.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as a resource within Ensemble Health Partners for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and acting on all questions and concerns concerning the organization’s privacy policies and procedures.
- Enter and update all reported concerns, questions and incidents regarding HIPAA matters in the HIPAA Compliance Incident Management System and compile statistical and status reports, as requested.
- Ensure compliance with privacy practices and consistent application of sanctions for failure to comply with privacy policies for all individuals in the organization’s workforce in cooperation with Human Resources, department leadership, Chief Privacy Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and legal counsel as applicable
- Conduct routine and “for cause” privacy assessments and investigations to ensure compliance with the HIPAA Privacy Rule
- Recommend, develop and facilitate HIPAA privacy training and education in conjunction with the Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Compliance Officer.
- Be familiar with all Ensemble Health Partners’ products, services, and systems to assure meaningful data privacy practices.
- Report to the Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Compliance Officer regarding the performance of the HIPAA Privacy compliance initiatives and effectiveness of the program.
- In collaboration with the Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, keep all associates updated on new regulations of data privacy or protection of PHI that affect them.

Experience We Love:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare privacy compliance (HIPAA).
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Teams Applications.
- ONE CERTIFICATION PER FIELD CHPC or CHC or other approved Healthcare Privacy/Compliance Certification within 9 months post-hire
