Summary of Role

The main responsibility of the role is to serve as a process integration engineer, focusing on the development of advanced power semiconductor technologies, specifically CMOS integrated magnetic core power inductors. Experience with Cu RDL processes and their interaction with conventional CMOS passivation and interconnects, or experience in BEOL process integration, especially for power applications, would be highly valuable. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Your Job

  • Develop power technologies, including CMOS integrated magnetic core power inductors, as part of a collaborative team, from process set-up, characterization, continuous improvement, issue troubleshooting, qualification, and prototyping.

  • Closely work with the device and process module teams for device performance enhancement.

  • Work with various CMOS fabs to evaluate, qualify, and improve the interaction between power inductors and CMOS wafers.

  • Interface with internal and external customers for relevant matters.

  • Meet the development timeline and transfer the process to the production team.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor/Master/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering or another relevant field.

  • Years of Experience: > 3 years process integration experience.

  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with different teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.

  • Self-motivated, proactive and have sense of urgency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of German language or a willingness to learn is desirable but not essential

  • Exposure to power inductor development is desirable

  • Basic knowledge of magnetics is desirable
