We use state-of-art AI plus intuitive UI to eliminate useless paperwork and make the whole world go faster. Each company wants to customize and integrate Rossum in their workflow, which means seamless product adoption has a significant impact on the value we provide as a whole.
In practice, this often means the development of custom services that extend the product capabilities beyond the out-of-the-box features and create integrations to many different systems that our customers use.
As a Solution Architect, your job is to understand customers' needs and tailor a customized solution in a form of a descriptive and actionable backlog for the developers.
About you
We are all geeks and hackers who like to engineer beautiful systems, all the way to Rossum’s CEO. You will fit right in if:
-
This role is ideal for ex-programmers who want to grow in solving high-level design problems, rather than specific low-level engineering tasks.
-
You love solving puzzles.
-
You can contextualize your technical decisions by their business impact.
-
You know how to communicate your designs and ideas clearly and descriptively, so developers can follow through on them.
-
You know just what questions to ask the customers to reveal the pain points and their true source.
-
You understand the general principles of good security practices and you can identify potential risks to both the solution and the overall delivery process
-
You know your stakeholders, what is important to them, and how to communicate with them.
-
You are UX-sensitive. When designing solutions you always consider how the end-user will be affected by your decisions.
-
You are familiar with how the end-to-end development process works. You already participated in a dev process in some capacity. Experience with JIRA is a plus.
-
You are honest and bullshit-free. You base your opinions on data, but don’t cling to it in the face of good arguments.

What We Do
Rossum solves four key steps in document-based processes... receiving documents across multiple channels, automated understanding, two-way communication to resolve exceptions, and acting on the data using in-depth integrations. In typical real-world scenarios, Rossum’s proprietary AI engine outranks narrow data extraction solutions in accuracy. Meanwhile, Rossum’s platform automates the document-based communication process end-to-end. Rossum’s goal for every use case is at minimum a 90% document processing speed increase. What does Rossum bring to the table? Zero-friction deployment: See high AI accuracy right out of the box in Rossum’s free trial and cut down on most maintenance effort thanks to cloud hosting and automated self-learning. Highly customizable: Implement powerful configuration APIs while enterprise users can engage Rossum’s dedicated Global Services team. Unified document gateway: Solve everything from security and compliance to IT and user training in one place by adopting a universally capable document solution. End-to-end solution: Rossum’s cloud platform takes care of the entire document lifecycle from receiving to internal IT systems posting. Security and compliance: Rossum is ISO 27001 certified and HIPAA compliant. The cloud service has been specifically engineered for high availability, with enterprise-grade SLAs ranging up to a 99.9% uptime guarantee and 24/7 support
