Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced principal backend developer for our BlazeMeter product. BlazeMeter is the leading platform for continuous testing. Help us build extremely scalable product for other developers or DevOps engineers who are looking for effective solutions for their challenges -- such as verifying whether a newly-built service can withstand the surge of millions of new users on day one, proper monitoring of their APIs, thorough testing of all APIs before an app goes into production, along with mocking external services to isolate the application under test from 3rd party dependencies.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for architectural decisions in assigned functional areas.
- Work with an Agile team, deliver stories, and participate in backlog grooming.
- Fully cover the functionality that you develop by tests. We are looking for long-term stability for our solution.
- Collaborate with other internal teams and provide guidance on the architecture of a solution they are working on.
Requirements:
- Experience in analyzing complex problems and providing guidance to other developers in the same functional area across multiple teams.
- Expert knowledge of PHP 8 and Python 3.11.
- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Java or Node.js experience is a plus.
- Docker / Kubernetes
- AWS / GCP / Azure managed services
