Job Description: 

Articul8 AI is seeking a Principal UI/UX Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in React and TypeScript to lead the design and development of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for our enterprise GenAI platform. In this critical role, you will shape the front-end architecture, drive UX best practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences. You’ll play a key part in setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the delivery of scalable and maintainable UI solutions.  If you have a proven track record of building scalable, cloud-based front-end systems from the ground up, then this is the role for you!  

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the design and development of complex, responsive Gen AI web applications using React and TypeScript. 

• Architect scalable, maintainable, and robust front-end solutions. 

• Define and enforce UI/UX standards, ensuring consistency across the product. 

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver engaging user experiences. 

• Drive user-centered design decisions, conducting reviews and feedback sessions. 

• Identify and implement performance optimizations to improve application responsiveness. 

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and code reviews. 

• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and frameworks, integrating them where appropriate. 

• Contribute to design systems and reusable component libraries to accelerate development velocity. 

Required Qualifications: 

Education Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 

Professional Experience: A proven track record as a technical leader in developing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications. 8+ years of professional experience in front end development with Javascript frameworks. 

Core Technical Skills: 

• 8+ years of experience in frontend engineering with a focus on UI/UX. 

• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. 

• Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles. 

• Expertise in data driven visualization (d3.js).

• Experience designing and implementing scalable frontend architectures. 

• Proven ability to translate complex product requirements into intuitive user interfaces. 

• Strong knowledge of modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, Babel, etc.). 

• Experience with design systems (e.g., Storybook, Figma integration). 

• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Query). 

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress. 

• Experience working in SaaS, enterprise software, or data-centric applications. 

• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and micro-frontends. 

• Knowledge of animation libraries (e.g., Framer Motion) and visualization frameworks. 

• Familiarity with feature flagging technologies and multi-tenant SaaS environments. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Experience with accessibility (WCAG) and performance best practices. 

• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to mentor and influence teams.
