Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a qualified Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to join our team of high performing, diverse individuals. This position will be located on site in Oklahoma City, OK.

The GBMR Division is a fast paced, dynamic, and complex environment that requires a candidate to possess self-initiative, strong analytical skills, and solid leadership characteristics. Candidate will have the following, but not limited to, responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

This Program Cost & Schedule Analyst position will, under minimal supervision, interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements. The Program Cost & Schedule Analyst will have experience with monthly performance management, financial planning and reporting, and performance measurement baseline concepts; applied across multiple contracts, working with a Business Area. This position will also have some experience with proposal, pre-contract, and contract startup. Good leadership skills & the ability to work with the Program Office while leading a smaller team are essential.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Estimate at Completion (EAC) preparation and analysis.
  • Treasury/cash flow forecasting.
  • Indirect rate formulation/analysis.
  • Prepare intercompany work order (IWO) request form, establish and revise IWO as needed.
  • Project cost structure set-up and management; adherence to company policies, procedures and internal controls; and special projects as assigned.
  • Most assignments are complex and performed independently with only oversight from Business Manager.
  • Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
  • Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed­ upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Prepare budgets and schedule for contract work and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.
  • Perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
  • Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  • Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in program control, cost planning, business, finance, budgeting and/or similar industry related fields or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience in program control, cost planning, business, finance, budgeting and/or similar industry related fields
  • Experience with MS Office including Excel (with Macros, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience successfully supporting a monthly reporting & financial rhythm
  • Understanding of and experience with providing support to Business Area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidate is able to gain and have an understanding of, and adherence to, company policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to multitask are significant advantages

Salary Range: $72,600.00 - $108,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
