The Job in a Nutshell💡

We are looking for a principal/Senior Product Manager to join our tech teams and help create an amazing customer delivery experience focusing on dispatching algorithm. Which defines who, when and how orders are going to be assigned to couriers which has a direct impact on the business and especially delivery-time, couriers utilization rate and logistics cost per order which contribute to the company’s profitability metric beside giving a good experience to buyers, couriers and partners. This role heavily relies on data, optimization and geo-graphical analysis.

The PM role at Mrsool has an extremely high social and business impact, and like any such role, it’s naturally gratifying and fulfilling from a career growth perspective but also comes with large responsibilities. As a customer-centric PM, you will develop features that solve real problems and generate business impact, whilst partnering up with stakeholders such as engineering, design, operations and executive management.

The wide customer base for this product portfolio (real-life users, riders, restaurants, other engineering teams) means this role will expose you to a wide range of related topics, almost all of them of critical importance to the business.

Working with your own team, but often in collaboration with other tech teams, you will serve as an internal/external liaison between engineering, design, operations, and executive management, building tech solutions that power products which in turn serve millions of customers.

What You Will Do💡

    • Create a compelling vision, mission, and roadmap for the product that energizes and builds momentum within your team.
    • Identify, conceptualize and develop new features and products that deliver clear business impact. Do it in a customer-oriented way, with quality in mind, and prioritise what’s best for the company based on specific goals and impact.
    • Be a leader in championing your product across all stakeholders, internal and external, including regional country teams, marketing etc.
    • Develop, lead and implement projects such as company-wide go-to-market plans. Ensure timely delivery of projects in collaboration with other departments and functions.
    • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, uncovering problem spaces on the ground and informing new product features that solve for local users and local businesses.
    • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, assisting and troubleshooting to ensure that products are competitive and marketable.
    • Collaborate with the engineers and designers, and other colleagues sharing knowledge on product developments and issues, to discuss and implement effective solutions for the team.
    • Perform A/B testing working with product analysts and data scientists to validate and iterate product increments that demonstrate customer and business value.
    • Gather and use quantitative and qualitative data, creating hypotheses and making informed product decisions, testing assumptions early to reduce risk up-front. Conducting/facilitating market and competitor research with adjacent functions (e.g. design, ops etc.)
    • Coach and mentor other Product Managers to enhance their professional growth and skill sets, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the product team. Guide them in mastering product management techniques, from ideation to execution, and encourage critical thinking and innovative problem-solving approaches. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to share best practices and industry insights, aiming to elevate the team's expertise and alignment with strategic goals.
Requirements
What Are We Looking For❓

    • Previous experience in conceptualizing B2C product solutions, engaging with business stakeholders.
    • Proven experience in working on mobile-first experiences with Android or iOS engineers.
    • Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment, to manage and close the loop on multiple concurring tasks - all whilst building healthy relationships with stakeholders.
    • Ability to prioritize the highest impact projects, break them down into milestones to test key assumptions, develop hypotheses through fast experimentation, and pivot based on experiment learnings.
    • Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies and processes (e.g. sprints, kanban etc.)
    • Data-driven and impact-oriented; comfortable in analysing, reporting and efficiently formulating insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
    • Proven experience in developing and maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders, partners and executive management.
