About the Role
As a product marketer you will amplify Zeta’s product vision as our external-facing storyteller and advocate. Your role sits firmly at the intersection of product, sales, customer success and marketing.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you'll spearhead content creation, conduct comprehensive research (competitor, market, product), and articulate compelling value propositions for Zeta Products. You'll also synthesize market insights into actionable points of view, driving strategic decision-making across product, marketing, and sales teams. As such, you will work closely with Zeta’s CMO, Head of Product Marketing, regional sales leaders, and engineering, product & marketing leaders to execute the company's product marketing strategy across regions.
Responsibilities
- KRAs: Where you are expected to deliver
- Segmentation - personas, ICP definition, addressable market calculations, buying journeys, etc
- Positioning - position various Zeta products and solutions for the chosen segments
- Messaging - own messaging & POV that feeds into a wide range of assets
- Support in-market teams - customer insights, sales enablement materials, analyst briefings, etc
- Campaign execution (co-owned with country marketing leaders) - ensure that various types of content marketing campaigns are executed flawlessly and with high impact
- To achieve the responsibilities outlined in the earlier section, you will engage in a wide range of activities - described below:
- You will produce a wide range of written materials in many different contexts. This is one of the most important activities you will be expected to perform.
- You will spend considerable time embedded with our customers and prospects along with our sales and customer success teams so that you can sharpen your understanding of their needs.
- Most successful product marketers will be voracious consumers of opinions, papers, news, white-papers, webinars and other content from a range of sources to inform their own POV & content generation.
- Zeta has 1000+ product managers, architects, and engineers building the next-generation of banking technology - a meaningful portion of your time will be spent interfacing with them so that you can understand the nuances of our solutions and bring them to light in a compelling format to the external world.
- Over time, you will be expected to present your research, industry perspectives, and Zeta’s products and solutions in internal and external fora - such as analyst briefings, training sessions, and more.
- You will be accountable for creating a wide-ranging set of materials indicatively listed below. While you are expected to be extremely hands-on and provide the core argumentation, structure, and logic, you will be supported by a team of content writers and editors to bring these assets to ship-ready condition.

Experience and Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Bachelor's or higher), MBA (Master of Business Administration from Top tier academics (IIM / ISB / IIT / BITS / NIT or equivalent Tier-1 institutes)
- 10 + years of experience in the B2B space as a product marketer
- Ideally 5+ years in a product marketing role in the banking / payments industry
- Experience with B2B enterprise products with complex sales cycles
