As our Principal Machine Learning Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our DTC global operations. You'll lead a talented team of ML professionals, helping to hire and mentor them, and design and build a state-of-the-art ML platform in Azure using Databricks.

What you'll do:

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Capability Strategy: Design and deliver a roadmap of ML Ops evolution using Azure Databricks as the central component. Lead and work in collaboration with Data Science teams to adopt ML Ops as part of their development and productization process.
    • Platform Development: Support current legacy ML models deployed in AWS legacy solution, and in parallel lead the design and transition to a new ML Ops platform using Azure Databricks as the central component.
    • Technical Leadership: Guide and influence other ML engineers and data scientists on best practices, frameworks, and other technical directives.
  • Be part of a cross-functional team, directly contributing to feature development and maintenance of a global product;
  • Be constantly challenged to create world-class solutions.


What you'll need:

  • University degree in courses related to computing such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Systems Analysis and Development;
  • Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving;
  • Proven experience in ML Ops, using python, Spark, Scala or other ML frameworks in any field or industry.
  • Experience with productization of real time ML models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
  • Desired experience with ML in AWS, including: route53, ssm, kinesis firehouse, cloudwatch and ECR, EC2;
  • Strong expertise in Azure Databricks capabilities for Machine Learning.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to hire, mentor, and career desire to evolve as a technical team manager.
  • Excellent English skills for communication and writing.
