Position Overview:

As a Principal, HR Business Partner, you will be vital in enhancing organizational effectiveness and talent management within our Product & Technology organizations, including Product, Engineering, IT, and Infosec. Collaborating with senior leaders and managers, you will align HR strategies with our business goals, promoting a high-performance culture and ensuring our workforce is set up to succeed. This remote-friendly position reports to the Director, Global HR Business Partner, and works closely with HR centers of excellence to deliver outstanding HR services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the Product & Technology organizations' business operations, objectives, and challenges.

  • Utilize your business acumen to offer insight and support on people and organizational challenges.

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that drive organizational success.

  • Engage with and influence senior management, advising on the people and organizational impacts of business plans and decisions; ensure effective execution of organizational changes.

  • Provide expert guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.

  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEIB) initiatives, cultivating a workplace culture that values and supports DEIB at all levels.

  • Collaborate with people leaders on performance management, coaching, and employee development efforts.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing complex employee relations issues with professionalism and care.

  • Deliver data-driven insights that enable informed decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience.

  • 5+ years' experience supporting Product & Technology organizations in the technology sector

  • Proven ability to succeed in a matrixed organization, aligning and motivating HR partners across various regions.

  • Strategic thinker capable of converting business needs into actionable HR strategies.

  • Strong understanding of Human Resource practices along with knowledge of industry standards and trends.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.

  • Global perspective with an understanding of cultural, legal, and operational nuances across different regions and countries.

  • Skilled in influencing and persuading stakeholders at all levels, driving the adoption of HR strategies and initiatives for positive organizational change.

  • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in response to changing circumstances and challenges.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. 

The base salary range for this role in the United States is $140,000 - $180,000.

Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, such as a bonus or commission, medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
