The Pricing Analyst supports the Market Access team across all initiatives related to Gross to Net functions, pricing, contracting operations, formulary access, and general economic analytics. The Analyst builds advanced analytics to drive decision-making across different business segments, including modeling the impact of price to patients and providers. The Analyst also provides pricing inputs for product forecasts and will lead the monthly commercial invoicing and payment process. Finally, the Analyst implements contracting and reimbursement strategies for in-line products and models how strategies will translate across different therapeutic areas.
As Pricing Analyst, you will have a pivotal role on the Market Access team, joining at a time when the organization is evolving our business models to an everchanging market landscape. This role is a good match for you if you are a whiz at analysis, have advanced proficiency with Excel, and enjoy building complex models. You will be successful if you have some experience in pharmaceuticals, specifically in Gross to Net calculations, and the confidence to present recommendations to leadership. As Pricing Analyst you will:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of pricing and reimbursement impacts to payers, providers, and patients across the Kaléo business.
- Become a subject matter expert on Kaléo’s commercial and government contracts.
- Under the direction of the VP Market Access, implement the contracts evaluation process by referencing business intelligence tools and business data.
- Build advanced analytical tools and models to drive business decisions, including gross-to-net models.
- Lead the monthly commercial invoicing and payment process.
- Working with the Marketing & Analytics team, support and update product forecasts by providing inputs on pricing, reimbursement, and contracts.
- Work with Government Pricing vendors to support monthly and quarterly pricing reporting.
- Work with Pricing Compendia databases to monitor competitive prices and make recommendations for adjustments to Kaléo product prices.
- Own the analytics of formulary elements in contracts:
- Partner with payer data vendors on data inquiries, formulary change requests, and formulary status validations.
- Serve as a resource to Marketing and Sales departments on product formulary status.
- Validate formulary access to contract terms and compare to invoices.
- Support the VP with presentations to executive leadership.
- Lead and support other Market Access projects with third party vendors and external partners.

To be considered for the position, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, finance, statistics, or other relevant field.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- At least 2 years of experience in finance or business analysis, with some experience in pharmaceuticals.
- Experience working with external vendors.
Additional preferred qualifications:
- Experience with gross-to-net analysis and advanced forecasting strongly preferred.
- Experience with business intelligence tools and visualization software (e.g., Tableau) is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in market access or trade operations within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Experience with government pricing calculations is preferred.
- Experience with reimbursement dynamics for commercial payers is preferred.
