Objectives
- Develops pricing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives for pipeline and inline products objectives in private and public market
- Monitor and adjust pricing strategies in response to market conditions and customer feedback
- Ensure alignment with Pfizer's global markets through Global Price Management platforms
- Develops and implements patient affordability / financial patient support programs for out-of-pocket market with cross functional team support
Main Responsibilities
- Develop pricing strategies and structures (gross to net) that maximize profits while remaining competitive in the market accordingly with organizational goals for private and public markets.
- Responsible for researching and analyzing pricing/market trends and competitor pricing that supports pricing strategies.
- Develop and lead business cases creation considering cross functional team involved (marketing, financial, commercial, etc.).
- Manage Price Change Requests (PCRs). Submit and manage price change requests through the Global Price Management (GPM) system.
- Ensure internal and external governance and compliance across all pricing processes. Evaluate and document financial, strategic, legal, and reputational impacts of pricing decisions in case is needed.
- Communicate pricing policy, procedures and requirements to Access and Commercial teams.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on pricing-related topics and systems. This includes sharing experience and building a community of interest around pricing work across Pfizer affiliates and local teams.
- Carry out pricing projects to evaluate and make recommendations on optimal pricing strategies for gross to net improvements in private market.
- Provide comprehensive analysis on patient affordability / financial patient support programs for prioritized portfolio for out-of-pocket market.
- Lead cross functional team for successfully launch patient affordability / financial patient support programs for out-of-pocket market.
- Ensure GPM system is up to date to collect, maintain, and share pricing and reimbursement information with Pfizer's global markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years' experience in the pharmaceutical/health industry with knowledge on pharmaceutical commercial or market access topics.
- Outstanding critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical and analytical skills.
- Experience working successfully in a matrix team
- Vendor management experience desirable
- Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate with individuals at various levels within the organization and external stakeholders.
Work Location Assignment: Mexico City ( Must be able to work from assigned Pfizer office 2-3 days per week, or as needed by the business)
