About the job
We offer an interesting job opportunity within our Business Unit for Brazed & Fusion Bonded Heat Exchangers. This is a great opportunity for you who enjoys working with new products in a global market. You will be based at our site in Lund or Ronneby, within the team for Existing Product Development Sweden.
As our new Pressure Vessel Code Engineer, you will work with the development of new and existing brazed and fusion bonded heat exchangers in close cooperation with Development Engineers, Mechanical Specialists, Pressure Vessel Code Specialists as well as colleagues from our various manufacturing units. You will have local and international contacts.
Key tasks:
- Performing Operative Pressure Vessel Approval activities for new and existing products such as creation and administration of drawings and documentation.
- Ensuring accurate dialogue with approving third parties.
- Keeping up to date on relevant norms and regulations.
- Conducting mechanical calculations.
What you know
You hold a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar and you have at least a few years of experience within a relevant field to this role.
We think that you;
- Are oriented within the area of European and global norms and regulations with knowledge within the Pressure Vessel Code area as Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), ASME norms, UL etc. or are eager to learn the field.
- Have knowledge of common 3D-CAD tools and 2D drawings.
- There are many internal and external stakeholders who are dependent on you and your work, therefore fluency in the English language is essential.
