The Presales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the presales activities within the organization. This role involves collaborating closely with the sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure the delivery of tailored solutions to clients. The Presales Manager will lead a team of presales consultants, providing guidance and support to drive the successful acquisition of new business and the growth of existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management:
Lead and manage a team of presales consultants.
Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to team members.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Presales Activities:
Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations.
Create detailed proposals and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proposals are technically accurate and feasible.
Client Engagement:
Act as a technical advisor and product advocate for clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Understand client needs and business challenges to provide innovative solutions.
Product and Market Knowledge:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in technology.
Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market demands.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product offerings.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop presales strategies.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on client needs.
Contribute to the development of sales tools, training materials, and marketing collateral.
Performance Metrics:
Track and report on presales activities and outcomes.
Analyze and optimize processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Meet or exceed assigned performance targets.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a presales or technical sales role.
