What you’ll achieve

As a Presales manager you will be part of a high performing, dynamic and culturally diverse team, utilising your skills in solving complex healthcare problems of our Asian customers by using our market leading healthcare software products

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Serve as  the primary conduit between the Market and Solution initiatives and the broader Global based Maintenance & Support (M&S) Teams, Sales and Product Business Unit (PBU) teams (R&D – Product Development Centres of Excellence
  • Be a key contributor to the commercial growth of the Asia business unit and the level of value the sales team attribute to the M&S team in achieving that growth
  • In conjunction with the Asia sales team, distil both current and future offerings into a Market - Strategic Solution Framework supportive of our Go-To-Market Strategy and a coherent market offering. Leverage elements of Asia Strategic Solution Framework consisting of current products, new products, partners and services
  • proactively apply the principles of new market qualification and selection to the Asia business unit to ensure better risk management and commercial outcomes related to new market and new territory business
  • leverage relationships and expertise across the regions and broader organisation to coordinate the supporting detail required to identify and commercially justify the elements of the identified and qualified solution lead

Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with APAC Marketing Manager, ownership for the definition of Asia Regional Solution Framework to form basis of offerings to market.  The audience must be internal and external
  • In conjunction with Asia Sales and Bid Management, proactively define market influence plan designed to create, predict and support procurements well prior to formal tenders. This will require coordination of a combination of sales engagement, product / solution roadmap influence, digital marketing activity, conference / events planning, etc. 
  • Assist broader APAC and Marketing staff to appreciate local cultural attributes essential to our engagement with the market
  • Proactively facilitate strategy sessions with current or potential customers with a view to creating opportunity
  • Manage the coordination of complex solution definition and associated elements in the context of contributing to formal procurements, speculative proposals and proactive solution summaries.
  • Preparing compliance responses to various requirements, preparing a very high-quality technical proposal encompassing all the solutions involved – with diagrams and technical explanations. Interact with respective Product teams to get development efforts related to customization, integration, etc.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of solutions to prospects / clients / Partners
  • Prepare technical write-ups and presentations, and maintain the collateral repository with regular review / updates
  • Contribution to market business cases and related value propositions in support of new market entry initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and management of agreed partnership agreements and terms on behalf of the region and between those with regional responsibilities in this area.
  • Contribute to and provide the conduit to the sales team regarding the solution / product pricing models. An understanding of related value propositions is key to supporting price and minimising discounting and ensuring approved margins
  • Participate in the broader marketing activities in the identification of market solution opportunities with potential to contribute to commercial growth aspirations of the company
  • Identify sales training needs (Solution / Product related) and contribute to internal sales team education in relation to solution awareness and value proposition
  • Acquire knowledge of competing products and solutions and disseminate internally across the Sales and Presales / Solution Teams
  • Other duties as required by the regional General Manager

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:Essential Requirements

  • A solid understanding of the Healthcare domain and underlying business and care drivers in Asia – focus on Provider Sector
  • A superior understanding of all the elements of complex enterprise information system solutions in Healthcare
  • 8+ years’ experience related to the deployment of enterprise information solutions in public and private healthcare facilities
  • 8+ years’ experience in Pre-Sales and Solutioning role proposing complex solutions to customer requirements in terms of RFP / Tenders. Experienced in preparing high quality technical proposals, conducting proposal defence, preparations and conducting solution demonstrations to clients / prospects
  • Proven capability to distil new (unproven) solutions into components and model the delivery of such solutions in support of commercial and market justification
  • Possess good knowledge on integration and interoperability concepts in healthcare domain across different and disparate healthcare information systems – must be familiar with concepts like FHIR, HL7, APIs, etc.

Desirable Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in your area of expertise is highly desirable
  • Membership of relevant professional associations, peak bodies, industry councils and advisory committees would be desirable
  • Exposure to Data Analytics, BI, KPIs and Dashboards
  • Knowledge of Cloud - deployment of solutions on Cloud with SaaS model
