The MAM Pre-Sales Consultant II plays a crucial role within Vizrt’s Global MAM Business Unit by providing technical expertise to customers. Their primary responsibility is to support the sales team by effectively communicating the technical features, advantages, and benefits of Vizrt’s MAM products and services. They collaborate closely with existing and potential clients to understand their technical requirements and design tailored solutions that meet those needs. Additionally, they prepare and deliver product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers, offering detailed technical information and addressing any questions.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Vizrt pre-sales Consultant II is to provide technical expertise and support to the sales team during the pre-sales phase. They work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and design solutions that meet their needs using Vizrt's products and solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation to customers on Vizrt's products and solutions.
- Work closely with sales teams to understand their commercial needs and provide customers with pre-sales support and technical guidance.
- Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
- Design and develop technical solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
- Create and review proposals and quotes to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
- Complete technical proposals for statements of work, RFI, and RFP responses.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and professional services, to ensure the successful delivery of customer solutions.
- Keep updated with industry trends and technologies relevant to Vizrt's products and solutions.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to showcase Vizrt's solutions and build customer relationships.
- Mentor and train other technical Pre-Sales Consultants
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or information technology, can be helpful.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical Pre-Sales role in a software company, preferably within media asset management.
- The ability to effectively articulate technical details and benefits to customers and explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Experience in a technical sales environment, including working with sales teams, providing pre-sales support, and delivering technical demonstrations and presentations to customers.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills as they will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, provide solutions, and build relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into innovative and scalable solutions.
- Deep understanding of media asset management principles, workflows, and technologies, including MAM platforms, DAM systems, and metadata standards.
- Resides in Europe, preferably in London or Stockholm, with the availability to travel to Vizrt’s Americas region at least once every quarter.
- On occasion, be expected to work outside of standard office hours to attend meetings with customers or other Vizrt employees not based in the consultant’s region.
