In NC, we operate three pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains. Our Emerging Technologies -Solid Dosage Forms US facility in Durham, NC is a 194,000 square foot tableting and packaging facility that supports the production of our innovative oral treatments for patients with type 2 diabetes. The Position
The purpose of the Power Platform Developer role is to drive and accelerate the integration of process automation technologies, data analytics, and visualization within the manufacturing process, thereby enhancing professional usage and efficiency across the organization. Onsite Opportunity. Schedule is Monday -Thursday, 10hr day shift schedule.
Relationships
Reports to Manager.
Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement scalable automation solutions that are sustainable and follow best-in class automations based on Low Code Digitalization technology
  • Document and test the automated solution accordingly to quality standards
  • Develop and implement other digital solutions when deemed necessary
  • Develop, test, implement & maintain solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, etc.) to automate business processes, create custom applications, and integrate data from various sources
  • Automate workflows, data gathering, data analyses, and visualizations
  • Create and maintain documentation and ensure solutions comply with relevant SOP's and industry practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Stay up to date with the latest features, updates, and trends in the Power Platform suit
  • Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
  • Other duties as assigned


Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. % can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, business or related field from an accredited university required, Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of proven programming and development/configuration skills in a digitalization tool to meet the defined design/solution approach required, preferably in a well-known multinational corporation and within the Power Platform suite
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling required
  • Experience and knowledgeable on modern software development, agile working and DevOps techniques, programming required
  • Strong business understanding a plus
  • Strong strategic and innovative mindset a plus
  • Basic infrastructure (especially in cloud) knowledge a plus
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Strong analytical and development skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translating into application and operational requirements required
