Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for Modules Market Development Engineer. In this position, you will join the Power Modules Technical Marketing organization to support the definition and execution of the Marketing Strategic plan. You will manage and execute activities for specific markets and product lines in order to establish, improve or differentiate the positioning of products on the reference markets, mainly focusing on the application requirements and in close contact with a worldwide customer base.

Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is a site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans.
What you will be doing:
- To support the definition and execution of the Marketing Strategic plan
- To manage and execute activities for specific markets and product lines in order to establish, improve or differentiate the positioning of products on the reference markets, in cooperation with the Product Marketing Team
- To understand, identify and quantify market areas, monitor competitor activity, and identify customer needs
- To manage or perform application tests and provide feedback on new products prototypes performance to R&D
- To provide application support to our customers, through Regional Marketing and Sales Teams, and to the R&D, Engineering and Manufacturing groups
- To meet our worldwide customer base, sustaining and developing direct contacts with customers, especially technical ones to build stable and long-term relationships
- To stay updated on applications development trends, engaging frequently with customers, featured Power Electronics conferences, and the Corporate Applications / FAE Teams
- To prepare Application Notes, technical material and Selector Guides to support the RoadMap of new product releases
What you will bring along:
- Bachelors Master’s degree, or PhD Level, in Electronics & Power Engineering or similar .
- Good knowledge of Power Electronics and Devices
- Experience with practical power electronics projects or power converters, specially hands-on laboratory activities
- Excellent user of IT (emails, coop tools like Teams, MS-Office), including data analysis & interpretation. Software or coding skills are highly regarded yet not mandatory
- Excellent Knowledge of wirtten and spoken English language; Italian language knowledge is a highly regarded plus (it will be required to learn it otherwise). Other languages are a plus, yet not mandatory.
- Good Project and Program management skills
- Good attitude with interpersonal communication skills (written and oral), and good negotiation skills
- Good motivation to master new major challenges.
- Good motivation & ability to travel worldwide, with an open and flexible mindset
