Role: Power BI Developer
Location: Hyderabad
The GBS mission is to contribute to CHC simplification by developing and implementing a new operating model to execute some of the financial & accounting processes (Account-to-Report, Customer-Invoicing-to-Cash, Source-to-Value, Master Data Management, among others). GBS aims to deliver efficiency by leveraging best in class methodologies and strategically contributing to CHC simplification, while driving mindset and cultural changes.
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer/Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data analysis and visualization, with a proven track record of designing and implementing Power BI solutions to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop interactive fully digitized dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to provide insights into key business metrics and trends of CHC business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs, translating them into effective data visualizations and analytical solutions.
- Design and implement data models using Power BI Desktop, including data preparation, transformation, and modeling.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Optimize and maintain existing Power BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization, Power BI, and related technologies, continuously improving our analytical capabilities.
- Provide training and support to end users, empowering them to leverage Power BI for self-service reporting and analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2 years of experience as a Power BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, including Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, and Power BI Service.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying from various data sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or related certifications in Power BI would be a plus.
