The Post-Closing Doc Coordinator is responsible for accurately obtaining, reviewing and delivering any trailing documents to the necessary party. The Document Coordinator will be driven by accuracy and managing process while being highly organized. The Document Coordinator job scope also includes exceptional research skills and the ability to work under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. This role is full-time; non-exempt. This position has no supervisory responsibilities, and this position reports to the Final Docs Supervisor.


Responsibilities and Duties

Must comply with all BSA/AML requirements as well as any mandatory changes. The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the manager. Job duties may change as required by needs of company. Must complete all required industry and compliance training as required by Plaza Home Mortgage

 

· Pulls reports from the LOS/vendor to identify the aged trailing documents that are currently outstanding with investors/Servicers.

· Requests any aged or needed trailing docs from clients and title/attorney closing agents along with following up in timely manner.

· Works with investors, internal departments, and settlement/attorney offices to cure defects found in the mortgage/Deed of Trust or Final Title Policy - including re-recording if needed.

· Collaborate with team members on projects.

· Performs data entry in the LOS by marking documents appropriately.

· Delivering documents to investor/servicer in a timely manner.

· Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills

· Experience with Microsoft excel, word, and outlook.

· Mortgage loan document knowledge and title work experience a plus.

· Proficiency with reports for reconciling data and management.

· Capability of handling and meeting deadlines, and prioritizing in fast-paced environment with a heavy volume

· Ability to communicate effectively with department and clients.

 

Education/Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Mortgage Lending experience a plus

· Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

$19/hr.
