What will you do?
We are looking for a PMO Manager to establish and oversee project governance, ensure smooth execution of data-driven projects, and drive operational efficiency. This role will focus on standardizing processes, optimizing resource allocation, and enabling project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
Job Description
Main Tasks:
Project Governance & Process Optimization
- Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Define project governance structures, ensuring compliance with internal standards and client expectations.
- Establish and maintain documentation, templates, and reporting mechanisms for consistent project execution.
Project Oversight & Delivery Assurance
- Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple data consultancy engagements.
- Ensure project teams adhere to timelines, budgets, and deliverable quality standards.
- Implement and track KPIs for project success and operational performance.
Resource & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with project managers and leadership to allocate resources effectively.
- Support capacity planning and workload balancing across teams.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Lead retrospective sessions and promote a culture of learning and continuous development.
- Maintain a repository of best practices, lessons learned, and project insights for future initiatives.
People management
- Leading a team of 5-6 senior project managers
- Mentor and motivate team members to enhance performance and professional growth
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a PMO role within a consulting, data, or technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Ability to standardize and optimize project workflows for scalability and efficiency.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com, MS Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in tracking KPIs and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of data analytics, AI, or digital transformation projects is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma) are preferred but not required.
