Brown & Brown is Seeking a Platform Reliability Engineer to join our growing team.
The Platform Reliability Engineer is a critical member of the Digital Delivery team within Brown & Brown’s Retail Software Engineering organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of the Power Platform. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality solutions to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, architects, agile evangelists, and other engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of products that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
How You Will Contribute

Participate in the design of the platform to ensure reliability and maintainability are integrated from the start.

Investigate the underlying reasons for platform failures and develop long-term solutions.

Design and execute tests to simulate operating conditions and predict component lifespan and failure modes.

Develop maintenance schedules that enhance platform longevity and reliability.

Work with Dynamics and Data architects to design storage solutions that meet the platform's needs, ensuring data is stored efficiently and securely.

Ensure that the platform has sufficient storage capacity to handle current and future workloads.

Monitor storage performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance performance.

Manage the lifecycle of data, including data retention, archiving, and deletion policies.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Must be a hardworking individual who is detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.

Experience maintaining or administering a platform like power platform

Experienced in working within an "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodology.

Solid understanding of insurance business processes and industry-specific challenges. (preferred)

Proficiency in reviewing and maintaining a performant Power Platform environment. (preferred)

Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions. (preferred)
Pay Range
$110,000 - $130,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
