PURPOSE OF JOB/POSITION
- Consults with AWS Cloud Operations team, Windows Server team, SQL Server team, Takeda Security team, Audit/SOX Compliance team, UAMS-HFM team, Finance Business-Owners of Hyperion, 3rd party software vendors.
- Solves problems on Hyperion application aspects by using knowledge of the Hyperion applications (HFM, FDMEE/ODI, HTP, SmartView) to recommend solutions.
- Develops solutions and plans for implementation of processes that improve Hyperion's performance and increases the value of the application to the finance business community.
- Solves problems on Hyperion application aspects by using knowledge of the Hyperion applications (HFM, FDMEE/ODI, HTP, SmartView) to recommend solutions.
- Advises technical teams and business users on features and functionality of the Hyperion application and 3rd party tools that can increase value of the applications.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Understand the close, consolidation and reporting data and reporting needs
- Provide support to ensure all operational and project based commitments related to the consolidation systems are delivered
- Provide support to ensure that the consolidation systems are fully available to support close, consolidation and external reporting requirements
- Provide support to ensure adequate IT support is available during month end close and IT issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal finance stakeholders
- Collaborate and partner with various stakeholders to implement and deliver system improvements and opportunities
- Provide hand-on solutions and advise to support the business needs
- Ensure all development activity is compliant with change control procedures and is rigorously tested
- Maintain current knowledge on Consolidation and related tools

- Strong knowledge and experience of Hyperion EPM and related tools (preferred: HFM, FDMEE/ODI, HTP, SmartView)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of technology including AWS Cloud, MS SQL Server and MS Windows servers.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5+ years of technical and administration experience with Hyperion EPM and related tools including back end architecture (MS SQL Server and MS Windows servers).
- Minimum 4+ years supporting end-user processes (e.g. Close, Budget, Forecast)
- Strong technical / application development skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, business acumen with analytical and problem solving skills.
- Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks, working in an international environment.
- Understanding of how IT efforts are tied to achievement of business goals.
- Business Analyst and/or Project management experience.
- Ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
- User Centricity at the core
- Experience with working with multiple teams across a matrixed organization to implement solutions.
Desired
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
AWS Cloud- Experience on Hyperion version 11.2, specifically HFM, HTP, FDMEE/ODI
