OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  • Support the development and definition of the strategy for the commercials product line capabilities by proactively identifying changes in business and the technology landscape, that would impact the SAP ERP portfolio and developments through the lifecycle of (SAP ECC, SAP S4/HANA SAP E-Commerce, SAP BTP - Leonardo and various SAP Cloud Solutions...).
  • Ensure integrated design, build, deployment and operations of commercials product line. Ensure that dependencies are understood, managed, and communicated.
  • Ensure business continuity through operational and service excellence of responsible product lines.
  • Partner with leaders within the business and countries, possess strong knowledge of both business and technology, to drive ERP solutions to harmonization, optimization and operational excellence of overall ERP Services


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Participate in the design of roadmaps for product line, ensuring integration into the overall product management roadmap and release plans (SAP ECC, SAP S4/HANA, SAP E-Commerce, SAP BTP - Leonardo and various SAP Cloud Solutions).
  • Identify and solve complex problems impacting local/global disciplines on a local/global level and oversee implementations and implications to be solved.
  • Center design and operations around word class user experience for ERP Product Line Commercials (SAP ECC, SAP S4/HANA, SAP E-Commerce, SAP BTP - Leonardo and various SAP Cloud Solutions...).
  • Participate in the definition of user requirements, user stories, specifications and the update/review of Design Papers and process flows. Working closely with the key business and IT stakeholders and third-party providers to deliver new application solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Act as the 'go to' Commercial's specialist for stakeholders and liaison/driver for business community. Possess strong knowledge of both business and technology regarding SAP ERP solutions and developments.
  • Lead resolution of complex problems with a local/global impact on the business and identifies opportunities to streamline business and/or layered system processes.
  • Ensure ongoing smooth operations for Commercials Product Line areas in collaboration with the product delivery services team.Actively collaborate with the release and engagement teams and encounter major programs ensuring active adoption and deployment of product line capabilities. Support active engagements and continuous improvement as required.
  • Ensure alignment with Business Process Owners and IT Business Partners to drive engagement, process design, prioritization and deployment support across the respective areas.

DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS
Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Solid expertise in SAP SD
  • Good overview to interaction modules like SAP GTS, MM
  • Exposure to SAP S4/HANA
  • Good overview of interchange to SAP Cloud Products (E-Commerce, BTP and others)
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.


Decision-making and Autonomy

  • Experience defining opportunities, problems, challenges and derive action or mitigation plans
  • Experience assessing complex situations, state problems and drive the generation of solutions
  • Good understanding of how to evaluate costs and benefits, or pros and cons of IT solutions
  • Experience in driving the selection of the best possible solution

  • Attitude for active collaboration with business and IT stakeholders on any organizational level
  • Skills to motivate team members to deliver the best for the company.


Innovation

  • Good experience in design thinking to derive innovation opportunities
  • Skills to communicate pro-actively to share knowledge, provide and receive information
  • Experience in cutting edge technologies and the innovation it delivers.


Complexity

  • Track record in product management (ideally in an SAP ecosystem)
  • Experience in a multi-cultural and large enterprise.


EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of SAP functional, configuration and/or development experience in SAP SD.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Experience in a full lifecycle implementation for a major SAP application implementation.
  • Good understanding to variety of Sales Processes depicted in SAP
  • Proven skills to basic and central SD functions
  • SAP technical skills (orientation in programming, database, interfacing principles and techniques)
  • Orientation in SAP SD user exits and custom extensions
  • Ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
  • Ability to set priorities, develop workflow processes and manage business and provider relationships.
  • Extensive experience with SDLC methodology and the validation process, including writing deliverables for validated systems.
  • Experience with working with multiple teams across a matrixed organization to implement solutions.


Desired:

  • Pharmaceutical industry and drug development experience.
  • SAP certification within module and/or technology desired.
  • First exposure to SAP S4 HANA desired.
  • Exposure to interchange with SAP Cloud (E-Commerce, BTP...) and External Applications
