About the team
As a Platform Engineering Manager at Worldpay, you will be an active member in working closely with global platform engineering teams in developing & supporting the product, adopting best CI/CD practices & increasing the speed and resiliency of our delivery practices. Collaborate on product vision and roadmaps with various teams across the business. Be part of an agile team in the day-to-day execution of sprints.
What you’ll own

Oversee day-to-day activities of the global platform engineering teams

Plan, coordinate, monitor and implement very complex technical and/or non-technical programs to meet organizational goals.

Capture, communicate and mitigate risks and/or issues
-
Partner with multi-departmental leadership and other stakeholders to locate opportunities and develop and prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria.

Supervise projects and help managers to ensure all projects within the scope are delivered within defined scope, quality, time, and cost requirements.

Capture and report metrics, and contribute to ongoing improvement

Facilitation of ceremonies, planning activities, brainstorming and ad-hoc discussions

Build close relationships with our Product Owners

Nurture a culture of collaborative innovation

What you bring

5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering
-
Strong communication (verbal & written), interpersonal and mentoring skills.

Strong presentation skills, ability to create stunning PPT to impress stakeholders

Self-motivation and ability to stay focused under pressurised and multi context environment.

Ability to adapt & excel in a changing and fast paced environment.

Exposure to Agile practices
