About the role:
As a Platform Engineer at Arcee, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend services and Software Development Kits (SDKs) for our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement features, enhance performance, and ensure seamless integration with the Arcee platform.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain backend services for the Arcee platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Own the Software Development Kits (SDKs) to ensure seamless integration with the Arcee platform.
- Implement features and enhancements using Python and FastAPI. Arcee follows a code-first approach to produce our OpenAPI spec.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and examples for the SDKs and product features.
- Collaborate closely with UI, Infrastructure, QA, and Security teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
- Contribute to design and architecture discussions to drive innovation and maintain high standards of engineering excellence.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the Arcee product and SDKs.
What we’re seeking:
- Proven experience in backend development, with expertise in Python.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with OpenAPI specifications.
- Experience designing and maintaining SDKs for developer-friendly integration.
- Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passion for AI technologies and eagerness to contribute to building cutting-edge solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization technologies is a plus.
