Job Description
In the role of Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of our container platforms
- Working with the operations team to define technical lifecycles and procedures
- Automating recurring tasks to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Monitoring and updating Openshift and Azure Kubernetes service environments
- Provide operational support and perform root cause analysis
Requirements
- Experience in monitoring support activities and using relevant metrics
- Knowledge of modern scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python)
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. GIT)
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
- Understanding of CI/CD practices for continuous integration and deployment
- Knowledge of Kubernetes routing and load balancing (e.g. Nginx)
- Confident handling of Linux systems
