- experience regarding IT processes management (ex. risk, compliance, change, incident),
- strong ability to work independently and deliver tasks on time,

- skills and experience in creating procedures, documents, reports, and building presentations,
- analytical thinking and deductive abilities supported by drawing conclusions,
- very good communication skills,
- great sense of humour.
English level – C1
You'll get extra points for:
- non-financial risk management knowledge/experience,
- knowledge of IT environments, cybersecurity, cloud based solutions,
- experience in identity & access management,
- SSCP/CISSP/CISM/MoR/Comptia Security+ certificate or similar,
- understanding non-financial and security regulations within financial sector.
- proactivity and the ability to generate ideas for process improvements,
- ability to learn fast and not overthink issues,
- ability to navigate withing dynamically changing environment,
- ability to read and create technical and non-technical documentation.
Your responsibilities:
- preparing risk and compliance documentation,
- working with the first line of defence (1LOD) and other teams to identify, assess, document, and review risks,
- facilitating appropriate risk awareness and risk culture amongst staff,
- keeping risk/audit calendars up to date,
- tracking and announcing procedure, process and similar changes,
- ensuring procedures are up to date and in line with the company policy,
- reporting of area risk levels,
- building and conducting presentations.
Information about the area:
Detection Platforms Area owns and maintains Security Detection and Response technical platforms (on-premises and Public Cloud) from the perspective of availability, scalability, security, and compliance. We are also responsible for correct data ingestion and processing from either own engineering capability or consuming other services available within ING and integrating within Detection Platforms offering. Platform team is responsible for connecting new data sources into the SDR ecosystem (e.g. connecting/migrating a new datacentre, connecting new public cloud provider, implementation of a new detection technology). We meet at least once a week in the Katowice office.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer II”.
