Job Title: Financial Wellness Program Director - Southeast - PlanSmart
Location: United States
Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Open to any location in the Southeast
Role Value Proposition: The Financial Wellness Program Director will be a member of the team supporting the PlanSmart Financial Wellness strategy for a geographic area. This position will focus on new customer sales and developing strong relationships to ensure their continued involvement in the program. Successful collaboration with the Group Benefits Sales Team, internal partners, brokers/consultants, and professional financial partner relationships is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working proactively with our Group Sales Partners, sell PlanSmart financial education programs to new and existing customers in assigned territory.
• Maintain and grow the book of business through proactive sales, upsells, and support of Group Benefit products within accounts/territory.
• Own relationship with existing customer in assigned territory to increase financial education workshops.
• Own relationship with Group Benefits Sales Leaders and Account Executives in assigned territory.
• Work with Implementation Coordinator to ensure implementation of new customers.
• Responsible for continuing workshops and upselling all PlanSmart services.
• Partner with our financial professional partners to share best practices and drive growth.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
• Must be located geographically in the Southeast.
• Sound business practices and judgement (marketplace interactions, expenses, events, compliance etc.)
• Partnership and collaboration (internal, Group Benefits, across MetLife)
• Delivers against goals and objectives.
• Demonstrated track record of top sales performance in employee benefits or related industry with proactive development of opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience in relationship building with internal teams, customers, and distribution partners
• Experienced presenter for national events, client meetings or board meetings, as needed
• Accomplished change management leader, able to operate effectively in a highly matrix environment.
• Ability to travel 10-15%
• License requirement: Life/Health License within 3 months
Preferred :
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
• Ability to work within a sales team environment and manage multiple assignments simultaneously when meeting deadlines and under pressure.
• Meeting/seminar planning and ability to maintain a strong pipeline and account activity with partners.
