Job Description
Summary:
Lead and facilitate the production planning process, including demand planning, resource planning and inventory planning, that balances the site’s business performance objectives with customer demand. Supervise the execution of the plan through production and supplier scheduling processes.
Essential Functions:
- Work cross-functionally to develop attainable plans and schedules.
- Effectively collaborate with controlling to understand financial implications of production plan.
- Leverage business systems, such as ERP and MES to achieve goals.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers as needed.
- Communicate with inventory control personnel as needed to gather necessary information.
- Ensure data integrity in ERP, both static (bills and routings) and dynamic (demand and supply records).
- Supervise and assist with the production scheduling and supplier scheduling functions.
- Perform Materials department related projects and tasks, as required.
- Lead and facilitate the production planning process, including demand planning, resource planning and inventory planning, that balances the site’s business performance objectives with customer demand.

Qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing environment, automotive preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience in a planning and scheduling role.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- ASCM (APICS) CPIM training and/or similar affiliation preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred, but not required.
