What is the purpose/mission of the position?
As a Planning and Control Analyst, your main role will be to support the department in their daily activities related with month-end closing, income statements and expenses.
What are the tasks that you’ll perform?
- Cooperate and collaborate with the team in the performance of the different tasks.
- Show a high learning and adaptation capacity.
- Perform the required processes for the closing activities, such as monthly/yearly countable closing, income statements and expenses.
- Elaborate the designated periodical reporting's.
- Ensure the reliability of the results reflected in the documents.
- Conduct the necessary analysis in order to fix possible discrepancies.
- Strong attention to detail to guarantee the quality of the results.
- Demonstrate high organization and planning skills in order to achieve the established goals and deadlines
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Actuarial Science
- + 3 years experience in similar roles
- Experience in Controlling and Reporting preferably in an insurance company (mainly in Life).
- Valuable knowledge and experience with Solvency II and IFRS17.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
- SQL/ VBA Programming & Power BI knowledge (valuable).
- Fluent in English (writing and communication)
