About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Scheduler to join our compliance team at our Rotherham office. In this vital role, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the efficient scheduling and planning of work for our Damp / Mould Operatives, and Compliance teams. Your key responsibility will be to create, manage, and adjust schedules to ensure all tasks are completed on time, maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
You will coordinate daily and weekly activities, making sure that the right people are in the right places with the right resources. Effective communication will be crucial, as you will liaise with team members, supervisors, and clients to keep everyone informed about schedules and any changes. Your role will also involve monitoring schedules, identifying potential conflicts, and making necessary adjustments to keep everything running smoothly.
Furthermore, you will play a significant role in planning and organising resources, including equipment and materials, to support the operational needs of the teams. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of schedules and completed tasks, ensuring all documentation is up to date and easily accessible. By working closely with the management team, you will help identify and address any scheduling or planning challenges, ensuring that our operations continue to meet the highest standards of efficiency and compliance.
Principal Accountabilities
- Create and manage schedules for Damp / Mould Operatives, and Compliance teams.
- Coordinate daily and weekly activities to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in priorities, staff availability, and other variables.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure everyone is informed about schedules and any changes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, completed tasks, and any issues that arise.
- Assist in planning and organising resources, including equipment and materials, to support team operations.
- Work closely with the management team to identify and address any scheduling or planning challenges
Key Criteria
- Proven experience as a scheduler, planner, or in a related role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Familiarity with Damp / Mould, and Compliance work
- Proficiency in scheduling software and tools
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
