Job Summary
RPA is on the search for an integrated media planning role covers all media types, including Television/Streaming Video, Streaming Audio/Podcasts, Digital, and Social. The position supports Apartments.com and Homes.com and requires a four-year college degree. The ideal candidate will assist the team by pulling research, generating ideas, and taking the first pass at developing initial media recommendations. This candidate will supervise one AMP, so prior supervisory experience is preferred.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Conduct research, develop ideas, and create initial media recommendations
- Supervise 1 Assistant Media Planner (prior supervisory experience preferred)
- Develop and present POVs to internal teams and, occasionally, clients
- Oversee materials created by the Assistant Media Planner to ensure accuracy and quality
- Manage media budgets and agency billing processes
How You’ll Excel In Your Role
- Strong knowledge of all major media planning tools including, but not limited to, Syndicated Research (Nielsen, MRI, etc.), Vivvix, Pathmatics, eMarketer, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and accounts
- Knowledge of all media channels, including digital
- A team player who is a "cultural add" as much as they are a culture fit
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and naturally curious
- Success in this position requires adaptability, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required, as is working knowledge of all major media planning tools.
- A 4-year college degree is preferred but not required
Pay and Compensation
This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime compensation. The salary range for this opportunity is $67,000 - $70,000 for candidates who align closely with requirements and expectations.
