Job Description
As a Personal Lines Product Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the Personal Lines Market Management team, reporting to the Personal Lines Product Analytics Supervisor. This role focuses on advancing product analytics and providing data-driven tactical support to local markets. Your efforts will help shape the future of Personal Lines insurance by improving insights and driving new tools and competitive strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage products by analyzing premium rates, loss experience, and retention to ensure production and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to design state-specific business strategies for profit and growth.
- Research competitor market positions, financial dynamics, and new technologies to identify and act on opportunities.
- Coordinate with IT and other teams for the implementation of rate revisions, product features, and related initiatives.
- Provide detailed reporting and insights for product management and enhancement.
Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with forecasting, modeling, and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Python).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of related education, training, and experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of life insurance products.
- Hands-on experience with modeling, forecasting, and trend identification.
