The type of contract is a full-time legal agreement, not a B2B contract.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance and scalability tests on new and existing products.
- Use open-source tools to measure metrics and identify bottlenecks.
- Use Locust, k6 (or other similar tools) to design and execute load and performance tests against Web applications, web services and SQL Server.
- Develop and maintain testing documentation and reports.
- Stay current with technological developments in cloud networking and performance testing.
- Write and prepare technical performance test plans
- Develop data-driven test automation scripts and execute performance and load testing
- Design and execute daily load BVTs as well as larger, system level tests
- Prepare data for execution
- Analyze data gathered from performance tests
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex performance and scalability issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering teams to refine product designs based on test outcomes.
- Maintain and develop performance infrastructure in collaboration with the DevOps team.
- Report findings and log defects
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software performance optimization
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Proficient in Linux environments and capable of scripting in Python, Shell, or similar languages.
- Practical knowledge of network performance testing tools such as iperf.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
