The role:

The Performance Manager – SEM role requires a deep understanding of SEM strategies, the ability to analyze performance data, and a track record of driving successful campaigns and growing strong teams.

Proficient in core media planning, buying and reporting tools:

Required: Google Ads, Microsoft, SA360, Campaign Manager, Ads Editor

Ideal: Campaign Manager, GA4, Adobe analytics.

In this role, you will work with a range of wonderful clients with support of a strong team of media professionals. You will work towards being a trusted guide for your team and your clients, helping them navigate the paid search media ecosystem and build successful paid search strategies that deliver business outcomes

Core responsibilities:

  • You have a primary focus on supporting the Performance Director with the implementational planning across the total search landscape.
  • Paid search reporting & insights, and supporting the Performance Director with driving innovation within the search strategy.
  • Client administration including WIPs, PIRs and Timeline Management
  • Spearhead the strategic direction, planning and implementation of the client’s SEM accounts

A bit about you:

  • In-depth understanding of Google Ads, Ads Editor, Microsoft Ads, SA360, Campaign Manager.
  • A proven track record of delivering results by identifying and executing on key optimization opportunities.
  • Experience managing and scaling campaigns across multiple platforms, including creative research, ad copy creation, optimization, and reporting.
  • Apply a strong knowledge of SEM and emerging practices as well as new ideas within the field
  • Ensure budgets are spent according to the plan and delivery is to target
  • Reporting at a monthly and quarterly basis, making sure details are clear and accurate
  • Manage and oversee the development of the SEM Executive and associate, including day-to-day oversight of their work across implementation, pacing and optimisations. Ensure delivery is on track and aligned to scope
  • Collaborate closely with the broader Digital team contributing to a team-oriented environment and celebrating collective achievements

Indicative salary for this role is $90,000-$100,000 per annum including Superannuation, dependent on experience.
