The Performance Conversion Associate will play a key role in supporting Choreo's Platform Management performance team, specifically focusing on performance data conversions from various portfolio accounting systems to Black Diamond, Choreo’s primary portfolio accounting system. This individual will assist with data migration, quality assurance, and troubleshooting, ensuring a seamless integration and accurate performance reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data Conversion and Migration: Facilitate the end-to-end conversion of performance data from multiple portfolio accounting systems into Black Diamond. This includes data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Quality Assurance and Testing: Verify and validate data accuracy throughout the conversion process, running performance reports, troubleshooting discrepancies, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including the technology, operations, and advisory teams, to align on project timelines, deliverables, and best practices for performance conversions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of conversion processes, methodologies, and any customizations, providing documentation and regular updates on conversion progress to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data-related issues that may arise during conversion, applying technical problem-solving skills and liaising with vendor support as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to refining conversion processes and recommend enhancements for efficiency and data accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience with portfolio accounting systems; familiarity with Black Diamond is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, including compliance and advisory staff.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to document processes and communicate technical information clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data integration tools or ETL processes is a plus.

Expected annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 plus incentive compensation. Salary is negotiable based on location, experience, and qualifications.
