As an intern you will be a part of the 12 week summer internship program that will provide an exceptional learning experience and an opportunity to be a part of a company who is helping Americans find convenient and affordable healthcare. We are currently looking for hard-working, curious and eager students to join our team.

About the Role:
GoodRx is looking for an intern to join the People Team this summer.  We are looking for someone who is eager to learn about a career in human resources and who wants to make an impact to our employees.
 

Objective:

Evaluate and improve the company's onboarding process to enhance new hire engagement, time to productivity, and manager preparation. 

Responsibilities:

  • Research: Benchmark best practices from leading companies and gather feedback from recent hires and managers. Find and document ALL the touchpoints of onboarding (including IT, HR and other departments). Research successful onboarding programs and interview internal teams to understand their preferences and needs.

  • Data Collection: Conduct surveys and short interviews with new hires from the past 6-12 months.

  • Process Mapping: Document the current onboarding process and identify pain points or gaps.

  • Technology & Content Review: Review the new functionality coming from Workday to see how the onboarding program can be built. Assess how well our onboarding tools (e.g., HRIS, LMS, Slack, Notion) support new hires. 

  • Recommendations & Pilot: Develop a set of improvements (e.g., pre-boarding activities, buddy programs, manager guides) and test one initiative with a small group.

  • Final Presentation: Deliver a report with findings, proposed enhancements, and an implementation roadmap.
     

Skills Required:

  • Extremely curious, motivated, and ready to work hard in the field of Human Resources

  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written.

  • Organized with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Team-oriented but also able to work independently.

  • Proficient in Google and/or Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.

  • Interest in learning about HR functions such as HR program management, employee engagement, compensation and L&D

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree, to which you will return to in Fall 2025. Open to a student who has completed an Associate’s degree and transferring to a four-year university

  • Expected Graduation date between May/June 2027

  • Able to commit to full time internship program for 12 weeks during summer of 2025
     

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation for undergraduate interns is $22.00 per hour

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available to interns throughout the duration of the internship
