Department Summary
The People Operations team is responsible for improving, and embedding people processes and policies across all business areas consistently, to make Hogarth the best place to work. We champion our People Ways of Working across the Global Hogarth Network, consistently delivering on our commitment to exponentially improve our stakeholders’ experience of People operations, to build elegant and compliant processes that are required globally. We lead implementation and management of Global People Technologies to enable data driven people strategies across all our markets whilst ensuring risk management and compliance to relevant legislations and privacy laws. We represent Hogarth in WPP level people projects and initiatives, continually enhancing employee experience and implement best in class people practices.
What does a Global People Operations Specialist do at Hogarth?
As a key member of the Global People Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving consistency, harmonisation, and efficiency across our people operations globally. This position is at the intersection of technology, data, and talent acquisition, ensuring our systems and processes support our teams at scale. By streamlining workflows, improving data accuracy, and maximizing system utilization, you will help drive efficiency and effectiveness in support of the people team. You will serve as the first line of support for our People Operations colleagues, providing timely assistance to teams across multiple markets.
Responsibilities
- Champion the People Tech Stack by conducting training and refresher sessions to empower teams in global markets.
- Support People Operations teams by troubleshooting system issues and managing queries via a support ticketing system.
- Perform quarterly access recertificationsfor compliance and maintain data integrity across People systems.
- Provide HR for HR services to Regional People Directors, including issuing employment documentation and maintaining HR data.
- Administer and optimize Greenhouse ATS, ensuring smooth, efficient global operations and system integrations.
- Manage system updates and improvements, working with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Talent Acquisition)
- Ensure data integrity across recruitment systems, providing accurate and insightful analytics and reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process automation to streamline the talent acquisition lifecycle and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure global compliance with recruitment regulations (e.g., GDPR, EEOC), optimizing ATS workflows for a seamless candidate experience.
Reporting lines and key stakeholders
This role reports to the Global People Operations Lead with a dotted line reporting to Global Head of Talent Acquisition. You will work closely with in market People operations teams, Talent Acquisition regional leads and our Support teams at Bamboo HR & Greenhouse.
Requirements
- Experience in People Operations, with a solid understanding of UK employment practices; global or multijurisdictional experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with People Technologies like Greenhouse, Bamboo HR, Workday, or similar HRIS tools.
- MS Excel skills, with the ability to analyze data, generate reports, and derive actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage complex tasks and ensure data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills(written and verbal), able to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- A solution-oriented, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently diagnose and resolve issues.
- Proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement, process optimization, and driving efficiency in all tasks.
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
