Job Description

With a team of 55+ employees, we are growing and have a great opportunity for a People Ops Manager to join us. We are on the hunt for a unique individual who can inspire and drive change, while fostering a culture of positivity, optimism, innovation, and excellence in line with our values. This leader will be instrumental in creating and evolving systems that enhance our operations and elevate our organizational effectiveness. The ability and desire to manage a high-performing team of specialists and administrative support will be key in achieving the goals.

Job Responsibilities are included but not limited to:

  • People Operations Management: Oversee the team that keeps the office and company running. To do this effectively you must be experiential and obsess about the details. This position is both strategic and tactical in the sense you will be involved in ensuring exceptional operations from top to bottom. 

  • Office Management: Medtelligent is an office-first company. While remote and hybrid positions are available, the physical office is a core component to the team’s culture. This position needs to be passionate about the physical office space as well as expanding the experience (as much as possible) to our remote and hybrid team members.

  • Talent Management: Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and termination processes to ensure we attract and retain top talent. Develop strategies to build a diverse and inclusive workforce that aligns with our company values.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance company processes and operations. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices that drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure that the company adheres to all relevant compliance regulations, policies, and standards. Regularly review and update company policies to reflect current legal requirements and industry best practices.

  • Leadership Development: Facilitate the development of leadership skills within the organization. Implement training programs and mentorship opportunities to cultivate future leaders and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications


  • 5+ years of progressive Operations and/or HR leadership experience, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing Operations/HR strategies in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technology Savvy. Medtelligent is a technology company so a passion for both technology and people is required for this position. 

  • Prior experience with the Rippling HRIS system.

  • Prior experience in a ‘start-up/entrepreneurial environment’.

  • Exceptional judgment; Calm and level headed under all circumstances.

  • Joyous demeanor; Optimistic by Nature.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Embrace change and strive for excellence

  • Comfortable with living in the “gray” and operating with little manager intervention.

  • Proactive, motivated, confident and self aware
