Job Description

As a People Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the business and our employees through the timely and consistent completion of quality 1st line transactional HR activities. 

Reporting to the People Services Team Leader you will be part of the People Team, who provide a professional, high quality HR service to employees and managers across the employee life cycle; providing advice and guidance over the telephone or via the HR case management system. 

What you will do 

  • Onboarding new staff and creating contracts for new starters
  • Triage and deal effectively with 1st line queries via phone or using the case management system
  • Manage cases with an end to end mindset
  • In line with the Quality Framework understand the needs of customers and continuously seek to improve customer service and resolve queries in the first instance where applicable
  • Using workflows and process maps to complete all allocated requests
  • Prioritising work activity to deliver Service Level Agreements
  • Contribute towards the HR strategy by identifying means of improving performance. Assist in reviewing business processes as necessary
  • Handling pay related queries and processing pay changes relating to employee's ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Working closely with Payroll, Compliance and Pensions

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of employment legislation, its application and best practice
  • A broad understanding of the HR employee lifecycle
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • Administrative background

Required Experience (Minimum 1-year):

  • Strong understanding of visa application processes and immigration requirements
  • Proven experience in handling government remittances including tax, social security and other related filings (proficient in excel)

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience of working in a HR operations or HR Shared Services role
  • Experience of workflow and case management systems
  • Dealing with complex queries and cases and providing resolutions / advice within SLAs
