Where You Fit
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support our organization’s payroll operations. This role requires someone with a strong background in payroll processing and compliance. The ideal candidate has experience with ADP and Workday payroll processing and a deep understanding of payroll best practices.
What We Need:

- Process bi-weekly payroll for employees using Workday Payroll.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related items.
- Prepare and distribute paychecks and direct deposits, as well as special payments and bonuses.
- Ensure payroll continues to align with company policy and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and legal requirements.
- Provide payroll operations support, including troubleshooting issues and optimizing workflows.
- Perform audits, reporting and reconciliations of payroll transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll data integrity.
- Generate payroll reports and support audits, tax filings, and year-end processing.
- Assist the implementation of Workday Payroll, and support system optimizations with ADP and Workday Payroll enhancements
- Maintain accurate and secure payroll records.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to enhance payroll efficiency.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or errors.

How We Evaluate:
- 3-5+ years of payroll processing and operations experience
- Workday Payroll expertise with hands-on system configuration experience.
- Strong understanding of payroll best practices, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this role is $47,000-$55,000. *This salary range is based off of the market pay for all of the United States; Terakeet applies a multiplier to this range based upon the specific geographic location of a job candidate*
