As a Payments Compliance & Operational Risk, Vice President within the Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk (CCOR) team, you will be at the forefront of managing risk in a complex and changing regulatory environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Assessing the activities of the Payments business and providing credible challenge in relation to compliance and operational risk
- Providing input on new business strategies, operational processes, risk mitigation and control effectiveness
- Managing relationships with key regulators and interact with senior key stakeholders
- Involving yourself in the regulatory change processes and significant risk and compliance related projects
- Managing regulatory exams and responding to regulatory inquiries
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree qualified with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to collaborate and build effective partnerships
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both orally and in writing, including the ability to operate in a complex organizational structure
- Effective analytical skills and the ability to manage several simultaneous tasks
- A self-motivated fast learner with the ability to work independently
- An effective team player and able to engage people across all corporate hierarchies
- Flexible and adaptable to dynamically changing work processes and environment
- Adaptability to work under time pressure and resiliency to provide stable and consistent performance
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- It will be an advantage to have worked in a role that has had exposure to payments or banking activities.
