KUBRA is seeking a Payment Support Analyst to serve as liaison between IT, client and business representatives, focusing on customer requirements as it relates to all things payment processing including but not limited to Credit Cards processing, Electronic Cheque Processing (ECP) and Debit processing.
In this role, you will also collect data from Database tables and manipulate as requested into Microsoft Excel and generate reports
The Payment Support Analyst will also be responsible for supporting the onboard and offboard of KUBRA clients with payment processors as well as ongoing authorization, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks and investigative work related to the ongoing operations of the client, KUBRA and payment processors. One of the key responsibilities is to provide support in completing daily, monthly, and/or quarterly reconciliation reports for various business partners and clients, ensuring a high degree of processing accuracy, efficiency and management control is maintained.
This is a 12 month contract opportunity.
What you get to do everyday:
- Administrative enrolment of client onboard, account maintenance and change request, client training with payment processing, reconciliation request and general inquiries related to payment processing specific to our organization and how it interacts with client ERP
- Understand all necessary US/Canada CPA, Credit Card, ECP, Debit and ACH processing, rules and regulations and provide all trends.
- Manage, provide Ad-hoc banking requests and act as intermediary among KUBRA, Clients and Processing partners/Members.
- Responsible for engaging clients, conducting merchant statement analysis processes, authorization, settlement and chargebacks, negative file removal, managing boarding processes, reconciliation and dealing with day to day client issues and concerns relating to merchant services and product partners
- Troubleshoot and investigate systems, products, and solutions to be able to determine the root cause of problems and advise corrective actions to take to maintain the integrity of all services
- Utilizes tools from bank and merchant services to obtain/review proof of payment, including converting data into a useable format
- Assist clients on book to bank reconciliation across various payment channels and independently analyze and reconcile more complex ledger accounts as required
- Analysis, preparation and management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met
- Conduct WebEx training sessions with various clients to aid in any book to bank discrepancies
What skills do you need:
- Understanding and experience with payment processing / credit card processing considered an asset (i.e. Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, etc.)
- Able to work with SQL database to collect data for manipulation and calculations
- Understanding best practices on how to reconcile book-to-bank cases
- Understand all necessary US/Canada CPA, Credit Card, ECP, Debit and ACH processing, rules and regulations and provide all trends.
- Knowledge of how to manage large volume of data and generate reports
What experience do you need:
- A minimum of 1-2 years related work experience in the payments industry, data analyst, business analyst or financial administration services roles, where you have strengthened relationships and dealt with internal corporate (B2B) and external (B2C) customers are an asset
- Experience creating reports in Microsoft Excel to be able to analyse data and provide graphs
