We’re looking for a Payments Specialist to take charge of a high-impact role that directly influences company revenue growth. This isn’t just about answering questions or supporting teams, this is about owning a core part of our company’s OKRs by driving payment adoption, shaping processes, and spearheading cross-functional initiatives.
As a Payments Specialist, you’ll play a strategic role in enabling Sales and Customer Engagement teams while collaborating closely with Product Marketing, Enablement, and other Go-to-Market teams. You’ll also be a key driver of revenue growth, converting sales opportunities into measurable success by articulating the value of Mews Payments, overcoming objections, and recommending winning pricing strategies.

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
Ownership of Payment Adoption & Revenue Goals:
- Take responsibility for driving payment adoption, with a focus on converting clients to Mews Payments by clearly articulating its value and guiding them through the transition process.
- Collaborate with Sales to recommend pricing strategies that align with client needs and maximize revenue.
- Measure success by the net revenue generated from Mews Payments, ensuring you directly impact company growth and performance.
Sales Enablement & Opportunity Conversion:
- Work directly with Sales during the contracting phase to position Mews Payments as the clear choice for clients.
- Help Sales reps overcome objections and close deals by providing clear, compelling arguments for adopting Mews Payments.
- Collaborate with the Deal Desk to define competitive pricing structures and tailor discounts based on payment models and competitor analysis.
Strategic Payments Expertise:
- Be the trusted authority on payments, providing expert insights into complex topics like the interchange++ model, estimating payment costs, and Mews fees.
- Help distinguish between broader product-related queries and payment-specific topics, collaborating with Solutions Architects (SAs) and Technical Account Managers (TAMs).
Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:
- Analyze competitor payment statements to provide strategic insights that inform our GTM and product strategies.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitive developments, ensuring our payment solutions remain best-in-class.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Partner with Product Marketing to design and deliver impactful enablement programs, ensuring GTM teams are fully equipped to sell and support payment solutions.
- Collaborate across GTM teams—including Sales Enablement, Product, and Customer Engagement—to drive alignment and strategy execution.
- Work with internal stakeholders to refine processes, share customer insights, and continually elevate our approach to payments.
🤝️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
- Fluency in French and English.
- Proven experience in a payments-related role, preferably within SaaS, fintech, or technology industries.
- Experience in sales or account management, as you’ll play a key role in demonstrating the value proposition and converting sales opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of payment processing models, especially interchange++.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for distilling complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience working closely with Product Marketing, and other GTM teams, with a proven track record of collaboration.
- A proactive, strategic mindset, someone who’s not just supporting, but driving it forward.
- Expertise in analyzing competitor statements and identifying trends to inform product and sales strategies.
- Stellar interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and functions.
